Investment potential of Krasnodar region to be presented in Lower Saxony today

Sergey Altukhov, Vice-Governor of the region, and Vasily Shvetz, head of the regional department of investments and SME support, will take part in the German-Russian economic conference.

Among the participants of the conference held in the city of Bad-Pyrmont are ex-chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, Minister of Finance of Lower Saxony Peter-Jürgen Schneider, Minister of Economy of Lower Saxony Olaf Lis and more than 100 reps from large and medium companies.

During the conference, it is planned to address the investment opportunities of the Russian regions, to establish a prospective vision on the construction of enterprises with German capital participation in Russia, to discuss the issues of the Russian-German trade & economic and business cooperation. In particular, the participants will consider the impact of sanctions on the production industry climate in our country and specifics of the German automotive engineering in Russia.

As reported by the Press-Service of the Administration of the region, Deputy Head of the administration of the region Sergey Altukhov will tell about the economic potential of Kuban, investment conditions established for the business community and will present the investment opportunities of the region. In particular, the projects on the development of alternative energy sources – solar, wind power energy, geothermal heating and proposals on the construction of toll motorways, development of balneology and mountain resort Lagonaki will be presented. Apart from this, as scheduled the delegation of Krasnodar region will have a series of meetings and negotiations with the managers of the largest German companies.   

The organizers of the event are an Honorary Consul of Russia in Hannover Heino Wiese, Eastern Committee of German economy and German-Russian forum.
