The export potential of the Krasnodar Region will be presented at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum

The Governor, Veniamin Kondratyev, spoke about the preparation of the region for the first largest business event in the country since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic.

– The pandemic has deprived the government and business of many platforms for interaction and cooperation. Many investment agreements, which qualitatively influenced the life of residents in the regions were being signed there annually. This year, we expect to make up for lost time over the past year at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, conclude the maximum number of useful contacts, and attract new investments to Kuban. The key topic of the region’s participation in the Forum will be the development of industrial and agricultural exports, as well as export of services, – Veniamin Kondratyev said.

The region plans to sign the main part of investment agreements in the resort industry. Investors understand the prospects and are ready to invest in the development of resort infrastructure.

The total area of the region’s exposition will increase by 60% compared to 2019. It will be 1,600 square meters. The stand will be divided into 3 functional zones. The largest one is an investment restaurant with 100 seats in the main hall. Shop windows with Kuban products will be placed at the entrance to the restaurant. The second zone is meeting rooms for business meetings. And the third one is a conference hall with 60 seats. Round tables, panel discussions, and presentations will be held here, and the best samples of Kuban wine will be placed for tasting here.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will take place from June 2 to 5 at the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Center.
