The negotiations concerning the cooperation and exchange of best practices with the Finnish business were held within the scope of the official visit of the delegation of Krasnodar region to Helsinki.
Andrey Korobka, Vice Governor, held the meetings. Representatives of the executive bodies and managers of winery enterprises of the region participated in the meetings.
In particular, representatives of the region visited the Finnish state retail company for merchandising with alcoholic products JSC «Alco» where the presentation of Kuban winery products took place. Besides, the delegates familiarized themselves with the activities of the Institute for the Study of Organic Production.
– The products labeled as «green» brand is a promising niche both for internal market and for export. In the year 2020 the law on the production of eco-products will be enacted. I am confident that the law will promote this production line. However, for now we are at the beginning of the path, thus we are interested in the experience of other countries that attained results in the development of organic agriculture, including the experience of Finland, - noted Andrey Korobka.
For the reminder, just the day before Governor Veniamin Kondratyev held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of RF to Finland Pavel Kuznetsov and the Secretary of State of Minister of Economy and Empoyment Jari Partanen. They discussed the development of trade relationships as well as a prospect of opening the trading house of Krasnodar region in the country.
