Wines from the Krasnodar Region won 4 awards at the international competition

Terravino, the Mediterranean International Wines and Spirits Challenge (MIWSC), took place in Israel, in the historic district of Jaffa, south of Tel Aviv.

This year, Russia has sent more wines than ever before, 113 wines from 22 wineries. All four top awards were claimed by wines from the Krasnodar Region.

The Double Gold category was awarded to wines from Mezyb Estate, Abrau-Durso, Krinitsa Winery, and Chateau de Talu. Additionally, Russian wines garnered 14 gold medals, with 10 of these awarded to producers from Kuban. In total, experts evaluated over 700 wines from 23 countries.

Since its inception in 2006, the Terravino competition has welcomed entries from around the globe, judging them according to the standards set by the International Organisation of Vine and Wine.
